Travel: Shopping in Shanghai

Shanghai is indeed a beauty.  Amazing buildings with so much characters and history.  Beautiful people, flawless and fashionable.  It was winter during our visit and I was looking forward to some snow, which I found in small quantity haha well at least there was snow. The people there are so into fashion in fact, looking and admiring the winter outfits that the people are wearing is enough sightseeing for me.  Or maybe winter outfits are just so new to my eyes since it is my first time to experience that kind of weather.  Philippines is hot all year round.

I did not do much shopping in Shanghai since shopping is quite expensive there.  But because I love bargain shopping, I still did manage to buy some stuffs which were quite friendly to my budget.  (Just a few though)

Pink Hearts Winter Ballet Flats (I call them winter ballet flats because they are foamed all over.  Like a jacket to the feet--soft and warm)  I have a little dilemma though,  I know its very soft, like walking in bed but I think it might make my feet feel a little too warm if I wear them in the Philippines.) I will have to find out.

Purchased at Yuyuan Garden Bazaar for 25 RMB approx (167.5 Php)

Brown and Pink Polka Dot Winter Doll Shoes
Purchased at Yuyuan Garden and Bazaar for 20 RMB approx 134 Php (pretty cheap, huh)

Cheetah Winter Ballet Flats
Purchased at Yuyuan Garden and Bazaar for 25 RMB approx 167.50 Php

Blue and White Polka Dots Winter Booties
Purchased at Yuyuan Garden and Bazaar for 25 RMB approx 167.5 Php

UGG Boots in Black
Purchased at the Shanghai AP Xinyang Fashion and Gift Market for 120 RMB approx 804 Php
Original Price was around 180 RMB, bargained till I got it at 120 RMB

Red Furry Hat Purchased at an Underground Market along Nanjing Road.
Original Price was 120 RMB bargained till I got it at 35 RMB approx 234.5 Php
Yes, its correct.  I noticed that in underground market, you should bargain a lot.

Furry Ear Muffs purchased at a sidewalk vendor outside Super Brand Mall.
Original price was 25 RMB, got it at 20 RMB approx 134 Php

Pink Hand Gloves purchased at Shanghai Xinyang Fashion and Gift Market.
Original price is 120 RMB got it at 22 RMB approx 147.4 Php

P.S.  I don't really understand why some of the vendors at Shanghai Xinyang Market love to shout.
Yes the guy that sold this gloves at me literally shouted at me at the hallway!  He shouted "how much do you want"  like we are lovers quarelling.  Well, a girls got to do what a girl's got to do so i shouted back.  "25!"
We shouted some more back and forth till we agreed at 22RMB and I got this baby that kept my hands warm but it made my fingers look fat.  Not sexy at all.

So I got another pair at the underground market in Nanjing Road which I purchased at around 20 RMB approx 134 Php.  The knitted hand gloves were pretty but when I was about to wear it, I realized that its all dusty.  So I kept it.

And got this purple leather gloves which I really like.  Got it at Yuyuan Garden and Bazaar for 35 RMB approx 234.5Php.  Original price is at 85 RMB.  Sexy and Fab, now I can stop buying these gloves!  I can't use them in the Philippines anyway.  But hoping I will be visiting more winter countries soon.

Kikay kit which I got at the wholesale market, a 3 storey building near the Yuyuan Garden and Bazaar.  It reminds me a bit like Divisoria.  Got this at 25 RMB approx 167.5 Php.  The Pink Monkey Nailcutter was pucrchased at the Nanjing Road underground market for 7.5 RMB approx 50.25 Php.

Those are all the little things that I bought for myself.  I will post the stuffs that I bought for my little girl at the Ghetto Mom.  I also did some shopping for her.

To be honest, nothing really beats shopping for cheap stuffs in the Philippines and in Bangkok.  Though stuffs here comes from China, I don't know but they are still so much cheaper here than there.  I think visiting shanghai is more like sightseeing, people, culture, food and not really shopping.

Tips for shopping:  Bargain to the max!!!  Just check the price difference of the original price and the bargain price.

And ooh I forgot, I also purchased a leather dress from Esprit which I got at 50% off.  I forgot to take a pic so I'll just post it when I come back.

That's it for now:)

Ghetto Gurls' Love: Empire Macarons

Happy Friday Ghetto Gurls!

As you read this, I'm off to a week-long trip down south so I will be MIA once again :)

My first encounter with macarons was back in 2006 when our advertising agency at work gifted me 1 box full of Bizu macarons. I thought it was just another ordinary dessert. But when I took a bite..I was transported to macaron heaven! It was soooooo delish that I was so selfish and chowed all the macarons all by myself! I didn't share not a single macaron to anyone! Hahaha! :)) It  was soft on the outside and chewy on the inside. The variety of colors matched the flavor. It was literally an eye candy to me and I can't seem to choose what color to lay my hands on. I'm clearly out of adjectives to properly describe it. DELISH!!!! Once you pop, you really can't stop! heehee! When my macarons vanished to my stomach, I decided to go to Bizu and get another dose. But I saw the hefty price hahahaha! And said to myself my macaron-eating-marathon days are over.

Fast forward to 2009, Shanna and I joined a bazaar in La Vista and the booth beside us was selling macarons. We were always there to get "samples" from the tray. We were witnesses on how fast their macarons sold. After trying the samples, they would buy boxes!!! It was really that good! Similar to Bizu's! :) Watching Blair Waldorf having her macarons all by herself at one episode of Gossip Girl made me reminisce how delish the macarons were!

Ghetto B dreams of Tory Burch Reva Flats

I've wanted to buy my first Tory Burch Reva Flats back in my US trip in 2008. I was in Nordstrom rack and there was this Tory Burch Reva flats for only USD99! It was in my size (size 5) and the last pair! I went back and forth, deciding whether to buy or not.. and I ended up not buying.. and regretting it.. up to now (3 years later! Hahaha!)

I spoke to a friend of mine lately and he wants to surprise his wife with her first Tory Burch Reva flats. First he asked me what shoe a girl wants. Of course I told him, depends on what style. He told me flats. Then of course, top of mind would be the Tory Burch Reva flats! He said that his wife was scouting for one and he wants to "surprise" her by buying it for her. Since then, I can't get my mind of Tory Burch Reva flats.

Here are some I'd really really really really like! :)

Classic Black and Tan. An essential to one's shoe closet! USD 195

Truffel Python Suede. I love the texture! USD 235

Metallic Herringbone Flat. Super chic! USD 235

Well, with the power of The Secret, I shall have my own set! :) It's free to dream! Hehehe! In the meantime, I'd have to do with my trusty and comfy ballet flats I own.

Would you try: Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips

I rose from blogging hibernation once again! I missed working on these keypads with something not work related heehee! Though I really really want to update the Ghetto Gurls with tons of stories, new finds I wanna share, having a corporate job with an INSANE (yes caps lock intended! haha!) schedule couldn't allow me to do so. Sneaking some golden minutes to blog quickly is a blessing already :)

I discovered this new innovative thingy from Sally Hansen that's about to be super hot this Spring 2011! This Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips is not yet available locally but in drugstores in the US such as Walgreens carries this one for around USD 8

Sally Hansen Salon Effects comes with a wide range of colors and designs! Each set comes with a mini cuticle remover, nail file, and 16 nail polish strips. You can have intricately designed nails by just: Peeling, Applying, Filing, and voila! You have now nail art in an instant! They have 3 collections such as: neon, metallic, and patterned.

  • Savior for those who want to try nail art but don't have the time and skills
  • Wide range of designs to choose from!
  • For those who have small nails like me, I can use 1 strip for 2 fingers hehehe!
  • If you can't afford Minx (high  priced nail sticker popular among the hollywood celebs) which is around USD 30-50, this is your look for less!

  • Might be hard for those first timers
  • Although it says it can last up to 10 days, hard to say if this will last long. Super obvious if your nail starts to chip

For those who can't afford to cough up around 10 bucks for this one, this might be worth it for those who want to try nail art but don't have the skills or time to do it.  But on the other side of the spectrum, you may want to just buy a bottle of OPI and use it again after it chips. So just weigh your options. I'm sure you'd have people turn and ask where did you get your nails done hehehehe! If only they have it here right now, I don't mind trying  it on my tinkerbell sized nails :) I superrrrrrrrrrrr want to try!

Travel: Off to Shanghai...

Hello pretties!  Brrrrr, it has been pretty cold lately which gives me the chance to actually wear and enjoy my think wardrobe pieces that I have been keeping.  BUUUT, I am not sure if they will be enough to keep me warm when I head off to Shanghai tomorrow with the in law!  Shucks!  The office aircon is enough to freeze me, what more could a cold Shanghai do to lil ol me??  I heard from a friend today that Shanghai is actually snowing!  eeeeek, panic! panic!  Well, in preparation, I have actually packed some winter outfits (I am not so confident, I just pray that they will really keep me warm.  I don't wanna freeze yet I am excited with the snow!  It's gonna be my first experience if ever!)

So,  I don't really know exactly our itinerary for our 3 whole days trip.  After all, I am just a tag alang hihi lucky me!  But I am hoping that we will be able to check out the following places...

The Bund...

Well, when I hear Shanghai, it seems like I also hear The Bund. Always, always,  so I wanna see what is so special about the BUND.  According to my research, it is one of the most recognizable architectural structure in Shanghai.  I reckon this is a must see.

Yuyuan Garden

I heard that this garden is from Ming Dynasty and features classic chinese gardens and architecture.  Hmm, reminds me of old chinese movies.  This I gotta see and appreciate.

Nanjing Road

The main shopping street in Shanghai and is one of the worlds busiest street.  If it is shopping, this ghetto has got to be there.  Aja!!!

I am on my final packing stage tonight and will be closing my luggage bag officially so wish me luck that I wont forget anything.  If I still have time tomorrow morning,  I will share with you the pieces that I will bring with me and wear in the cold Shanghai.  And of course when I get back, I am gonna share with you what I learned, see and experience in Shanghai just in case next time If you guys decide to go there.

Well, I am a little bit sleepy.  So that's it for now pretties!  Don't forget to send me some of your sunshines in Shanghai, I'm gonna need it there, really.

Food for Thought: Baby Back Ribs for FREE @ Burgoo

Ola bonitas!    (I think I just said that in two different languages, french+spanish, hihi, oh well you know what I mean.)

The other day, I played supporting wife to my hubby's flying career.  Since it was important for him to be there and of course I wanna be there in his cross country flight!  Well, you can now say that I am a proud wifey although the flight was really bumpy--it wasn't his fault though--I'm pointing my finger to the weather.  Ok, so the flight was bumpy and it got me dizzy to the point that I have to you know do what "byahilos" do. Think gross.  Anyway, so after the flight, I was uber hungry and told hubby that I wanna eat YUMMY!!!  and so he brought me to BURGOO at Robinsons Galleria.

Upon entering, they gave us this flyer which entitles us FREE 10 slabs of baby back ribs if we have a total of 1000Php Food purchase and so we did order that amount and got our free food which turned out to be the highlight of our meal.

We ordered...

Seafood Linguini

A combination of baby shrimps, calamari, clams, New Zealand mussels and cubed fish fillet on a bed of Linguini pasta.
Size choices: Regular P325.00, Large P475.00
Ghetto S Says:  Yummy!

Nawlins Classic Platter

A combination of garlic sausage, grilled cajun chicken and baby shrimps sauteed with bell peppers and mushrooms. Served on a bed of rice pilaf and corn salsa.
Size choices: Regular P325.00, Large P425.00
Ghetto S says:  To be honest, this is nothing impressive.  Something that i won't order again so you can skip this one.  The rice pilaf was a little dry and salty and the shrimp was too few.

And our freebie...

Oklahoma Baby Back Ribs

P575.00 - 895.00
Size choices: Regular P575.00, Large P895.00

Ghetto S says:  I love the baby back ribs!  My hubby loved this too.  The meat was so tasty and the softness was just right.  Plus, it is quite big--10slabs-- so it was actually more than what we could manage to it so I got to take home some and eat some more.

Because the 2 dishes that we ordered were not enough for us to qualify for the freebie, we ordered dessert.  I was telling the waitress how I wish that they included drink purchases on their promo but the manager did not allow us.  I guess she must have seen the disappointment in my face so she offered me a buy 1 take 1 promo in dessert!  I'm easy so that alone got me back to happy.

For dessert, we had this Mississippi Mud Pie @ 175 and the Raspberry Cheesecake @ 195 (Of course, I only paid 195)

Ghetto S says:  I was excited with my dessert but was a bit disappointed with Mississipi Mud Pie.  I just tasted sweet and cold and nothing really different, or new, or impressive to my taste.  Was it too cold? Too hard?  Maybe.  It is forgettable.

Because we have a full stomach already, since we were the only 2 devouring this food, we get to take home a whole lot including the untouched Raspberry Cheesecake.  Overall,  I think that our meal was very cheap.  I think a good 5 people could have enjoy all our food and it only cost us Php 1133  (plus the 10% service charge)   I think it was cheap because we got the baby back ribs for free.  Nevertheless, we got out with a full and happy stomach.

I have one observation though,  the waitress that offered me the buy 1 take 1 dessert was really nice and cheerful.  I think her name was Tin.  Unfortunately, it was her time off so she has to leave early.  However, the waitress who replaced her does not know how to smile!  Even if my hubby took an effort in cracking some joke, she was just keeping her pouting poker face...duh?! What is her problem?  And when my hubby asked for more water, she filled his glass with water but neglected my poor empty glass.  She didn't even bother to fill it or ask me.  Hay naku!  Nakakairita if I remember it.  Anyhoo...too bad, our dining experience could have been great except for that moody waitress so I say, happy servers are really a factor in completing a good dining experience.

We dined at Burgoo at the 4th floor Robinsons Galleria Branch.  To see their menu online, please click HERE.

Agree mga chicas?   What do you think?

Hunk Hunted: The Vampire Diaries' Ian Somerhalder aka Damon Salvatore

Hello pretties!

I know I have been gone for quite some time and I miss you too!  Its really not that much fun without you guys.  I am sure that ghetto B has told you all about the Vampire Diaries and about the hunks that are in it.  Well, since I am also into vampire stuffs, yes I am shallow and childish--I am guilty!  I can't help it so I watched TVD and lo and behold, I am now an official fan and was converted as a TVD addict overnight.  And of during the times that I am watching the series, I am also captured by the "hunkiness" of Damon!  Oh I feel like high school again.  He is sooo handsome!  I love his eyes and his bad assness but sometimes he can be pretty extreme in TVD.

So I just wanted to share some interesting facts about Ian Somerhalder for those who are crushing him...

Date of Birth: 8 December 1978, Covington, Louisiana, USA
Birth Name: Ian Joseph Somerhalder
Height: 5′ 9½” (1.77 m)
Ian Somerhalder Twitter:

Ian Somerhalder Biography

The son of a massage therapist and a building contractor, Somerhalder was born and raised in the small southern town of Covington, LA. Boating, swimming, fishing and training horses filled much of his recreational time growing up, as did the school drama club and performing with the local theater group. With his mother’s encouragement, at age 10 he began a modeling career that took him to New York each summer.
By junior high, he opted to put modeling on the back burner and focus more on sports and school. A few years later, when the opportunity to model in Europe arose, Somerhalder grabbed it, embarking on an enriching path of work, travel and study that took him to cities including Paris, Milan and London. At 17, he began studying acting in New York, and by 19 had committed himself to the craft, working with preeminent acting coach William Esper. His fate was sealed while working as an extra in a club scene in the feature film _Black & White(1999)_. A talent manager visiting a client on the set spotted Somerhalder in a crowd scene of 400 and immediately signed him for representation. Happy to be anchored in New York, Somerhalder spends much of his time studying acting, writing and practicing yoga. His recreational interests include water and snow skiing and horseback riding.

Began modeling at age 10, modeled for Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabanna, Gucci, Versace and Guess (Was the face of Guess? for two consecutive fall seasons).
Was the face of Guess? for two consecutive Fall seasons.
Modeled for Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabanna, and Gucci. However, he doesn’t like to talk about his modeling career because of the impressions people might get of him as being just another pretty face.

Played varsity
Ironically, the first actor to be cast as one of the survivors in “Lost” (2004).
In 2005, he bulked up, adding about 20 to 30 pounds of muscle to his slim frame, so he would be considered for more leading-man-type roles.
Has said in an interview he was planning to buy a home in Hawaii when filming the hit show “Lost” but couldn’t after his character was killed off in the show.
He has a brother, Robert (Bob), and a sister. Their parents divorced when he was thirteen.
His father, Robert Somerhalder, was a building contractor of French and English descent, and his mother, Edna, who is of Irish and Choctaw descent, grew up on a pig farm in Mississippi.
Grew up with his mother, whom he has described as being “very spiritual”.
Attended Catholic school.
The surname “Somerhalder” originates from his adoptive great-grandfather. His biological great-grandfather, a wealthy English landowner, got one of his mistresses pregnant and paid an immigrant worker of his to marry this woman and give the baby a name, which was Somerhalder. The biological great-grandfather’s name was Hull.

Ghetto Fashion: Walking the Basic White Tee

One of my most favorite wardrobe staple is definitely the Basic White Tee.  Its no fuss, can be worn all year round and it can go with anything!  Just mix and match here, add a little something there and voila, you can get a girl next door look to a chic looks.  So all you ghetto girls should have this staple in your collection--remember its a must have!  Get the basic white tee that fits you best, some of you can opt for the V neck or the round neck.  Here are some of my fave celebrities who has worn the basic white tee with style.

Style 1:  Basic White Tee and the Classic Jeans

This is classic with a classic very simple get up and there is the danger of looking boring. Let us learn from the style of Kristin Cavallari on how she threw a bright scarf on this ensemble and got her look a major upgrade.  You girls can do the same.  Jeans and White T shrt + a bright colorful scarf:)

I like how heiress Nicky Hilton paired her White Tee and jeans combo with a tailored black jacket and a stunning sky high pair of peep toes and ta da...!  Nice work, Nicky.

Style 2:  Basic White Tee + Sexy Shorts

Even though this outfit is simple,  in fact the white t shirt and denim shorts combo is pretty famous among us Filipinos because it is wearable even in hot summer days,  I love how Cheryl Cole dressed it up by wearing a pair of killer high heels and a dressy black blazer.

Nicole Richie wearing short overalls and black wedges.  The white tee didn't look so basic anymore.

Style 3:  Basic White Tee + Skirt

Mary Kate Olsen paired her basic white tee with a long black skirt to glam up the look and true enough  I think that she looks fantastic.  The look is like a fusion, like rugged meets formal kind of thing and I think she pulled it off pretty well.  Just be careful with this look though, because just like harem pants, I think this one is not for everybody.

As always, Lauren Conrad really knows how to make an ordinary look look extraordinary.  White Tee and navy blue skirt.  This look is simple yet elegant.  Way to go Lauren.

Walking the basic white tee is just so fun to do because the possibility is just so endless.  These are just a few examples of glamming up the white tee, you can wear it with leggings, cropped pants, and so on.  I can even challenge you to girls to wear a simple white tee differently once a week for the whole year, and at the end of the year you will have 52 looks of the basic white tee.(But I think I have to prepare at least 3 kinds of white tee because I think that using just 1 white tee the whole year might just make the white tee to go to DOLE and complain about me hehe)  Hmm, that sounds like fun actually.  I think I can make that challenge for myself so I can share you girls the other fun way to wear the basic white tee.  Thanks for giving me the idea, pretties.

So thats it for now...ta ta!

The Havaianas 2011 Collection: Summer is a State of Mind

TGIF! Another week has passed! Time flies since it's already half of January! I feel we just celebrated the new year!

Every year, since year 2001, I make my 101 wishes I'd like to have for the year. I usually do it after celebrating new year's eve before I sleep. And I do have a wish that will come true soon! I wanted a new pair of Havaianas!

Good thing the people from Havaianas Philippines sent the Ghettos their 2011 collection video. (It's a sign that I'd have new flipflops haha!) I can't help myself to murmur "oooohs" and "aaaahs" while watching hahaha! I had my first (and only) pair of Havaianas back in 2005. I atttended a FGD discussion and I got a Php  1,000 gift certificate in Rustans. I bought this aqua blue Havaianas classic top sandals (the thick one) with heart print. It's been with me until this day. I'd like to give her a "sibling" and I think I found one hehehe!

Would you believe that out of all the designs presented, I loved the Havaianas baby chic in nautical stripes??!?! hahahaha! It's superrrrrr adorable! It's no surprise since I love stripes hehe =)
I'd let you guys know what design I'd be getting since being inside the Havaianas store is like being Charlie inside the Chocolate Factory :)) Do get one as well! Better to be preapared as early as now for the summer!

Yay or Nay: Marks and Spencer Waterlily Hand and Body Lotion

Do you agree with me that if smelling a certain scent brings you back memories and you feel like you are transported back to that time when you first smelled it? Well, I do!!!

I have this superultramega favorite lotion back in the day. 13 years ago, my friend gifted me a Marks and Spencer set: Waterlily variant of body wash and lotion. It's been 13 years since I used one and I vividly remember how it smells like... the scent brings me back to my high school days. Fast forward to Christmas 2010, I was surprised to see a bottle of Waterlily Hand and Body Lotion! After a decade, packaging looked different already. The bottle is not old rose in color anymore but I like the pink and fuchsia color. I tried a pea sized amount onto my palms and it felt like I was transported back to 1998 :) Still feels and smells the same.

Marks and Spencer Waterlily Hand and Body Lotion

  • I love the scent.. it's very me! Very girly! Stays onto your skin even after 8 hours.
  • Not too greasy but very moisturizing!
  • A little pea size amount goes a long way. No need to pump for more and reapply.
  • Easy to use since it's in a pump bottle and I see the contents. Love the packaging too!

  • Might be pricey for some since it's Marks and Spencer

Thanks to my 2 pretty cousins who gifted me this!!!! Big MWAH! Will use this for "big events" I'd like to feel and smell special hehehehe! :)

What to Wear: Winter Fashion for a Winter Vacation

Rise and Shine Ghetto Gurls! It's mid week and we are half-way before the weekend!

I'm so jealous of Shanna! Why?? She'll be going to Shanghai soon!!!! I haven't been there yet and I wanna go too! Since Manila has only wet and dry seasons, we don't have the chance to be in the winter mode! I wanna wear boots, capes, coats, scarves. The last time I went to NYC was year 2000 and I was wearing oversized windbreakers, Skechers, and baggy jeans! Hahahaha!

I've compiled a couple of "pegs" I'd like Shanna to see so she can strut the airport and the Shanghai roads in style!

Emily Blunt in a grey ensemble of acid washed skinny jeans, boots, leather jacket, scarf with her luggage in tow.

Emma Watson in a double breasted camel coat, cream scarf, dark skinny jeans and boots

Jessica Alba in a striped cardigan, leggings, and boots with her big roomy tote

Nicole Richie in black tights, beanies, denim cutoffs, black blazer, and a printed scarf, her best accessory? That red Chanel bag! :)

Key pieces:

  • Boots - I suggest flat boots! Since you will be doing lots of walking, it's important to have the most comfortable footwear
  • Jacket - a really thick one is needed! Better if leather so you can fight the cold temperature. Shanna told me it tends to fall to zero degrees in Shanghai
  • Scarves - You need to have something to keep your neck wrapped and warm.
  • Skinny jeans - it will be easier to wear your boots if you have skinny jeans. It also helps that your jeans hug your legs and hips tight so as to provide more warmth.-
  • Black leggings or tights - if the weather is really cold, then you could wear the tights before wearing jeans or leggings too.
I'm excited for her trip!!! :) On top of that, I asked her a favor to buy me HadaLabo Gokujyun Super Hyaluronic Acid Lotion! I've been wanting to try one because I'm really curious what the fuss is all about. Crossing fingers that Sasa in Shanghai has stocks :) Will force her to take pictures  (since I want to see her winter outfits) and take down notes so I have a guide when I go there next hehehehe!

Erzullie: Fashion for the Plus Size

Happy Monday Ghetto Gurls! :)

I want to share something new to plus-size ladies out there :)

Erzullie is a moderate to high fashion line created for the plus size fashionistas. Gone are the days where the stick-thin skinny girls are the one who can be fashionable! Voluptuous and curvey ladies can now have the chance to look fab without being ashamed of asking the sales ladies for larger sizes of clothes in the rack. What's good about Erzuille is that the clothes were specifically created for plus size women, keeping in mind what to "hide" and what to "flaunt".

The brains behind Erzullie are Bernalyn Cuevas and Raissa de Guzman. They wanted to create something that will empower the plus-size Filipina by giving them a boost of confidence through plus-size fashion. Being plus-size women themselves, they knew what it feels like to go to your regualar stores and ask for extra large sizes but to no avail. This sort of "rejection" somewhat causes one's self-esteem to go low and feel unhappy or unpretty. Some women resort to extreme dieting and starving which is really not healthy. What's important is to feel good by looking good! And this is what Erzullie wants to promote. Being plus size CAN BE FAB! :)

I saw their website and I chose 3 pieces I think that are must-haves:

Blue top with bat-sleeves :). I suggest to pair this one with white slacks and flat sandals which is a perfect outfit for malling or brunch-ing :)

Silver top you can cinch your waist using a belt for an instant waist. Perfect for a night out!

An office dress you can use if there's an imporant meeting to attend to. Earth colors are "in" this 2011. The highwaisted cut with the skirt's below the hemline length gives you a voluptuous figure.

Jennifer Hudson, Queen Latifah had their share of glam moments even if they're not a size 2. Size is just a number. No need to be ashamed if you can't find clothes that fit you.

Want some good news??? Since summer is fast approaching, Erzullie will be launching its first ever Summer 2011 collection! Be one of the first to see what pieces they will be having and get the first dibs on it! :) They will be part of the Rockwell Tent's Super Sale Bazaar on January 14-16, 2010!
